The repair and Worn Wear options make the brand more interesting to me than a single new jacket. I would still choose outerwear by weather protection, fit and how often I will actually use it.

Stories about Patagonia

What is Patagonia?

Patagonia sells outdoor clothing, packs and equipment across activities including climbing, trail running, snow sports, surfing and fly fishing. Its website also provides care and repair resources and links to Worn Wear, its used-gear and trade-in program. The range includes pieces for very different conditions and activities. Compare a product's intended use, fit, material composition and weather protection rather than treating all outerwear as equivalent. Layering space, pocket placement and packed size can be useful practical checks. For an item you already own, consult the repair and care guidance before replacing it. Used-gear availability, repair arrangements, guarantees and trade-in eligibility depend on the product and region. The presence of a repair program is useful information, but it does not establish the environmental impact of every individual purchase.
