The Good Grips tools are easy to reach for because the handles feel practical in a busy kitchen. I would still check whether a particular tool comes apart for cleaning before buying it.

Stories about OXO
What is OXO?
OXO launched its Good Grips kitchen tools in 1990. Founder Sam Farber was inspired by the difficulty his wife Betsey experienced holding a conventional peeler. The resulting designs emphasized a wider, comfortable handle rather than treating grip as an afterthought. The range now spans food preparation, cooking, baking, coffee, storage and cleaning. Good Grips utensils and POP food-storage containers are distinct product families, with different materials, sizes and care requirements. For everyday kitchen tools, compare how a handle fits your hand, how much space the item occupies and how it comes apart for cleaning. For containers, check usable capacity and external dimensions against your shelves. Confirm dishwasher and heat guidance on the individual product rather than applying one rule to the entire OXO range. Gallery photo: "OXO Kitchen Scissors.jpg" by TaurusEmerald. OXO identifies itself as a Helen of Troy Limited company on its official corporate-responsibility page. Its product range includes kitchen tools, storage, coffee equipment and household cleaning products. The parent-company relationship describes brand ownership; materials, manufacturing origin and care instructions should be checked for the individual item.
